Amazon Web Services (AWS) is growing rapidly, and we are looking for Logistics Specialists to join our Data Center team. As a Logistics Specialist you will take part in our Work-Based Learning Program (WBLP) in a Frankfurt Data Center.

These roles offer the opportunity to specialize in an area of interest including warehouse operations or planning and inbound.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review Data Center inventory, in-bound shipments, and ongoing demand
• Handle incoming shipments, including unpacking boxes, performing checks and system updates to material tracking databases
• Receive parts, maintain inventory, and check-out parts as needed to Data Center Technicians and Engineers
• Keep accurate records of material movements
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained to support build and repair activities
• Operate Return Merchandise Authorization process and receive replacements
• Assist in daily scheduling of deliveries and pick-ups to and from various locations
• Keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company
• Adhere to strict safety standards and maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all workspaces
• Frequent lifting of materials and products, placing items in storage, managing parts in shelving and pallet locations, extracting and moving parts form site specific areas.
This role is full-time (40 hours/week). As a Logistics Specialist you will be required to travel to multiple sites as part of daily operations. Work schedules will involve day, evening, or weekend shifts and on-call rotations.
The role in open for Berlin and Frankfurt.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 18 years or older
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Interested to develop a career within logistics
• Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment
• Knowledge of reverse logistics processes
• Experience handling vendor relationships
• Exposure to inventory control and inventory management systems
• Understanding of Material Flow handling, returns and secondary supply chain
• Reach truck license
• Full clean driver’s license
