Your main tasks include, among others:

Implementation of new LCAG handling processes at GHA level
Inspection of services provided to LCAG by the GHA as per contract
Conduction of meetings with the GHA on regular basis
Taking actions with the GHA in order to improve service and quality performance

Monitors the performance of (own) subcontractors to ensure required performance levels
Acting as contact person for GHA in case of irregularities and the need for escalation
Making operational decisions
Supervision of daily activities of LCAG staff and performing spot checks with appropriate methods
Manages, encourages, guides and evaluates his/her team members, this includes agency staff contracted by LCAG
Performs all other duties assigned or delegated by superior
Monitoring and utilizing LCAG manpower to ensure service standards
Providing regular feedback to local management
Performs local instructions (briefings), monitors and implements improvements as needed
Prepares LCAG schedules and short term planning of operational resources

The ideal Lufthansa Cargo Supervisor should meet the following requirements:

High school diploma/GED
5 years or more experience in logistics, airfreight handling and/or operations
English and local language skills required
Computer literate, MS Office
Strong ability to work underpressure
