ABOUT THIS ROLE
Based in Berlin, Audible GmbH is looking for an enthusiastic Manager, Data Analytics. You will be responsible for surfacing data-driven results and insights for the wider Analytics Team as well as the core marketing function. Leveraging your strong analytical acumen, you will lead operational, economic, and financial analyses to frame data-driven decision-making. Additionally, you will implement robust KPIs and scorecards to track initiative progress and performance, cultivating a culture focused on measurable results and execution.
This position is open through a 24-month contract.

Working with various teams, you will collaborate with a wide range of functions. From engineering, data science to marketing. You will be a trusted analytical partner, providing invaluable insights to both the analytics team and business stakeholders. Drawing on your exceptional skills, you will adeptly handle multiple high-priority tasks with leadership support. Critical to the success of this role is your ability to develop insightful analysis, work effectively as part of a cross-functional team, and transform data to insight.
As a Manager, Data Analyst, you will...
- Create and manage basic reporting solutions using SQL and standard BI tools
- Lead the development of regular performance reports and dashboards
- Support data quality checks and drive process improvements
- Identify and analyze trends in key business metrics
- Partner with Business stakeholders to understand and proactively address business questions
- Document comprehensive analyses and insights, establishing clear documentation standards
- Support the analytics team in day-to-day reporting needs

- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related)
- Experience in a data analysis role
- Proficiency in SQL
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel: Pivot tables, basic functions, data manipulation
- Proficiency in Analysis: Basic statistical concepts and business metrics
- Business fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Experience with visualization tools: Basic reporting and dashboard creation on Tableau, QuickSight, or PowerBI
- Experience with Python or R
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to explain analytical findings
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience working with large datasets
