ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Manager, Global Outbound Production, plays a critical role in executing all global outbound marketing campaigns that meet our business objectives and create innovative customer experiences. This role is responsible for end-to-end management of email and other outbound channels, from strategy and planning to execution and optimization. This includes creating and maintaining email templates, building and deploying campaigns, managing customer segmentation and targeting, and providing performance reporting and insights. The ideal candidate will proactively leverage Amazon’s AI tools to continuously improve both the efficiency of email production processes and the effectiveness of campaign performance.
This role is open on a 12 month contract.
As a Manager, Global Amazon Outbound Production, you will...
- Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to understand business requirements and design effective outbound campaigns and customer journeys across email that drive customer acquisition
- Build and execute outbound campaigns, including email and other channels, ensuring seamless delivery and a consistent customer experience
- Provide full-service support to the Audible on Amazon teams, depending on the complexity of the customer journey or outbound initiative
- Work closely with copywriters, designers, and other marketing team members to optimize for customer messaging that drives key results
- Develop and maintain customer segments and targeting strategies to optimize campaign performance and personalization
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and provide recommendations for optimization and improvement
- Stay up-to-date on email marketing best practices and new channel capabilities, and advocate for the adoption of emerging technologies and methodologies
- Streamline the outbound campaign production process through automation, process improvements, and the implementation of new tools and technologies
- Coordinate closely with others on the Audible on Amazon team to ensure timely delivery, appropriate resource allocation, and alignment with overall marketing priorities
- Partner with Amazon Outbound to secure permissions, approvals, and exceptions for email campaigns based on their global and or seasonal requirements
- Proactively leverage Amazon's AI tools, such as machine learning and natural language processing, to streamline the email production process and improve the effectiveness of email campaigns
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the end-to-end workflow and explore new technologies to drive innovation

- Experience in email and outbound campaign production, specifically with Salesforce/ExactTarget or similar marketing platforms
- Experience with HTML and email design best practices
- Business fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Exceptional organizational skills to efficiently deliver tasks within specified timelines during agile sprints
- Demonstrated interest and experience in online marketing, customer relationship management, and data-driven decision making
- Passion for books, audiobooks, and media in general
- Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a technical environment and proficiency with email marketing and data analytics tools
- Knowledge of German, French, Italian, and/or Spanish
- Experience with marketing automation platforms, A/B testing, and campaign optimization
