Position Overview

The Operations Intern is responsible for assisting the Operations team in general project management tasks for the Porsche Lifestyle Group. You may collaborate with the operation’s team in Germany and the local operations team to ensure tasks are timely and accurate.

The hourly range for this role is $19/hr-$21/hr.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • General project management tasks
  • Resource allocation
  • Process and maintain data via SAP and prepare Excel presentations
  • Process improvements initiatives
  • Project analysis
  • Design and implementation
  • Assist in ongoing process workflows in the area Operation/Logistics
  • Provide tactical department support towards the achievement of organizational objective
  • Available to work Mon – Fri up to 40 hours a week
  • Ability to work overtime as required (Department specific)
QualificationsQualifications

Qualifications:

Education

  • Recent graduate or Junior/Senior currently attaining a bachelor’s degree in business with focus on Operations/Logistics or comparable study is required.

Work Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of comprehensive relevant education, and or, experience in retail operations or related field within the retail/apparel/luxury industry.
  • Good understanding of supply chain.
  • People oriented, team player that can build strong partnerships across all channels.
  • Preferably previous internship/work experience in retail operations/logistics.
  • Creative and strategic minded with strong executional abilities and a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to solve advanced problems and trouble-shoot complex issues.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent IT user skills, including Outlook, MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Independent work style, self-starter, extremely organized and structured
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Easily adapts to changing scenarios
  • Ability to work with a wide range of colleagues and internal/external partners.
  • German language – a plus but not required.

Principal Working Relationships

  • Reports to the Porsche Design of America Director of Operations.

Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
