Position overview
This role will drive PCNAs digital development for ideating, building, and launching a new product localized to the US market known as “Porsche Shop” which is our online platform to sell our physical and digital products (such as Tequipment, Classic, Charging Hardware, ancillary products, etc).
To develop this product, the scope of this role includes: strategy development and implementation, collaborating with local software development teams (in coordination with Porsche Digital and PAG), conducting user research with both customers and Porsche Centers, driving forward the product roadmap, and coordinating an international project team as well as all necessary teams within PCNA to drive the Porsche Shop vision to reality. The role establishes best business practices and seeks to identify digital solutions that enhance sales effectiveness and customer satisfaction to ensure a premium and industry-leading customer experience in store and online along the sales funnel. Lastly, this role requires a candidate to be a champion of the “Porsche Shop” and garner support of the broader PCNA and PAG organization.
Roles & responsibilities
- Drive the localization for the Porsche Shop based on customer needs, corporate strategy, portfolio vision and e-commerce strategy in cooperation with other product managers, Porsche Digital, system architects and business owners within the broader organization.
- Translate the Porsche product vision, strategy, and objectives into a comprehensive product roadmap defining features, requirements, and priorities for the development teams to ensure a timely delivery.
- Collaborate with the legal department to ensure all planned and future development complies with applicable laws regulation to mitigate potential legal risks.
- Support the preparation of the Program Increment (PI) Planning process by collaborating with product managers, product owners, release train engineers, system architects and business owners.
- Coordinate all relevant Go Live testing efforts and project launch plans for V2 to ensure all business stakeholders scenarios are included and approved.
- Manage, along side PDI, the team budget planning and resource allocation according to project strategy and future goals.
- Lead all national platform roll-out and broader dealer adoption incl. development of a pricing model and financial systems flow to ensure that the business case is fulfilled as developed.
- Support of ongoing planning cycles (PIs) to ensure further development, rollout and ongoing operation of the software solution.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing and data teams to enable all requirements.
- Identify new areas for growth through quantitative search and UX studies including continuous benchmarking & analysis of market conditions (i.e. competitors, market disruptors, and other external factors).
- Lead product research by communicating with customers or Porsche Centers to identify areas of improvement within the platform or customer journey.
- Provide support to the organization by communicating product features and functionality to the broader organization to garner further support.
- Identify technical challenges and coordinate resolutions to enable efficient business processes.
- Serve as the face of the product within the company, and act as an expert to leadership.
- Identify key success factors and measure success of the product throughout its lifecycle.
- Influence key stakeholders across our organization to align intent and prioritization including the preparation of documentation for governance meetings.
- Liaise with other relevant internal and external departments to ensure that process and practices are coordinated and the overall product and service portfolio is aligned.
- Manage and develop the Ecommerce Operations Specialist to excel at Porsche Shop related activities such as managing product information, and operating the platform.
- Initiate, coordinate, and execute all Porsche Center onboarding for the Porsche Shop program. Enable the Canadian Market’s Porsche Shop by understanding their market needs and requirements by driving all features through the phases of ideation, refinement, and PI cycles.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, technology or similar field, MBA or Master’s degree preferred
Preferred qualifications include:
- 7+ years of experience in the Automotive, E-Commerce or Consulting industry
- Experience in managing complex, large scale projects and/or technology operations
- Experience in collaborating with high level stakeholders within an organization
- Knowledge of digital products and requirements
- Experience with, understanding of and interest in new technologies
- Previous experience leading cross-functional teams and projects required, preferred with international teams
- Knowledge of the North American and Canadian market
- Knowledge of sales and dealership processes in the automotive industry is helpful
- Retail, ecommerce, and customer service experience a plus
- Knowledge of PAG sales systems and processes is helpful
- Proven track record of driving successful product launches.
- Advanced experience with standard MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

The salary range for this role is $115,000 - $130,000. However, it is important to note that at Porsche, compensation range is dependent on geographic location. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skillset. Porsche reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness.
