Beschreibung

The Business Line (BL) Strategic HRBP is part of the AMZL Strategic HRBP organization and reports into the EU AMZL Strategic PXT Head. The role is a strategic business partner aligned to Operations Leaders managing MEU for Amazon Logistic (AMZL)

Key job responsibilities
ORGANIZATIONAL STRATEGY
• Actively involved in 4-legged stool (the Business, PXT, Finance, & Safety) conversations in their business line at a multi-country/super-regional level. Mitigates risks by looking around corners and asking thoughtful questions to get to the right solution
• Considers the implications and ripple effects of multi-country/super-regional level Business Line decisions. Partner with Country Field HRDs to ensure that any strategic goals or people priorities are aligned with the overall priorities of the Business Line
• Consolidates anecdotes, sentiment data and shop floor observations to understand/respond to associate needs and elevate the experience of AAs within their business line
• Work closely with the Region Field team on BL specific people metric/goal delivery which will include driving S-team ((TTR, URA, SoC, D1MO) and BL PXT goals
• Partner with Region Field HRDs/C&B team to influence/inform Wage Reviews and ensure that the same incorporates feedback from BL Leaders and BL trends
• Partner regularly with support teams (e.g. GOLD, L&D, BL Finance and ACES teams, DEI, WFS/ C&B at an EU/multi-country level, Launch etc.). Proactively communicate potential business line concerns and leverage the partnerships to seek feedback, advice, and clarification
• Establish effective partnerships with specialized PXT functions, including PXT Centers of Excellence and shared services (e.g. Compensation, Workforce Staffing, ERC, DLS). Stay up-to-date on key decisions made by Centers of Excellence and shared services that impact employees with the business line supported. Maintain open lines of communication, challenge decisions respectfully, and advance problems toward resolution
• Support/Act as consultant to Region Field teams, Strategy & Capability team (at EU or country level) and PXT3 team in development of standardized policies and processes
OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE
• Owns and delivers BL PXT inputs for the super-regional weekly business reviews (WBRs), through close collaboration with the respective Country Field Ops teams (from countries that make up respective super-region), EU One Ops Research and Analytics team, ensuring the insight feeds into EU WBR.
• Partner with other business lines at EU/ WW level to better deliver needs of the BL, utilizing best sharing practices, collaborative innovations and efficiency
• Owns and delivers BL PXT inputs for the super-regional Peak/Prime/Q4 Readiness Plans and daily business reviews (DBRs), through close collaboration with the respective Region Field Ops, EU BL PXT Peak Captain and EU One Ops Research and Analytics team
• Primary PXT owner for planned Super-Regional BL MBRs/QBRs that report on deliverables for businesses/sites such as Goals/UA/Attrition. Delivers this through close collaboration with the respective Region Field Ops teams and EU One Ops Research and Analytics team
• Analyze Peak DBR/WBR/MBR/QBR inputs to identify cross-border themes/issues within their business line and partner with the super- regional BL Operations Leaders to take actions on these
TALENT MANAGEMENT
• Act as strategic partner to super-regional BL Operations Leader within the region for all people related matters (such as organizational development; DEI; talent development; performance management, organizational design, BL people goals). Acts as their primary partner for all Talent Management needs and reviews. Ensures that their Ops partners hold themselves accountable to equitably selecting, retaining, developing, and optimizing the performance and engagement of their leaders and teams
• Own and deliver the super-regional Operations Talent Reviews, through close collaboration with the respective Region Field Ops teams, ensuring delivery for BL at EU and WW level
• Regularly review Talent plans/Connections with multi-country/super-regional BL Operations leader and holds the business accountable to improving leadership behaviors below the bar, in partnership with Field PXT teams. Works closely with the leader to strategically plan for long term talent goals and business priorities
EMPLOYEE RELATIONS
• Partner with Region Field HRDs to influence/inform their People/ER Strategy/Issue Resolution plans and ensure that the same incorporates feedback from BL Leaders and BL trends
• Work closely with ER BL Principals on delivering implementation plan/impact analysis for any BL specific changes that may have a top down impact across the super-region

• Articulate clear direction for their reports consistent with the organization’s vision and direction. Establish accountability for achieving business goals, and incorporate follow-up mechanisms. Leverage company tools and reporting to guide discussions and decision making
• Drive PXT Functional Excellence (e.g. performance management, talent management, strategic business planning) across directs
• Set clear expectations with your team on delivering an exceptional people experience. Lead team to relentlessly advocate on behalf of the employee
• Have structure in place to regularly communicate with your team. Keep a finger on the pulse of the team with respect to engagement, change and communication effectiveness
• Lead, champion, and follow-up on organizational and operational change. Engage the team during times of change. Take initiative on coaching and leading others through the change and stretching team capabilities
• Lead team to innovate with the right balance. Champion new ideas that show potential for a significant return on investment; help team to consider costs and benefits when proposing innovations. Challenge team to always begin with process discovery and the engagement of key stakeholders (process owners, the customer, approvers, etc.). This will ensure alignment and avoid duplication of work
• Coach and develop your team consistently. Act quickly when performance is not meeting expectations and effectively prioritize performance management conversations.

Grundqualifikationen

• solid experience in HR management and Leadership roles • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Demonstrated ability to lead/ manage HR initiatives • Proficiency in HRIS and HR software.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Expertise in leading large Field PXT teams or specialized PXT functions for the specific business line (CF/AMZL or ATS Operations Org supporting PXT teams); based in one of the countries that makes up the super-region • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred) • HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SPHR, SHRM-SCP) is a plus
