If you share our vision and view yourself as an independent, creative thinker, we invite you to join our team in this exceptional role located in Redlands, California The Regional Distribution Center (RDC) Manager is responsible for the daily business activities within the RDC, and serves as the main point of contact for RDC related topics to Corporate, Regional Offices and the Dealer Body. He/She is accountable to set and achieve all facility defined performance metrics (KPI) /cost targets and exceed Customer expectations. They will budget, organize, plan, monitor and provide direct oversight in order to achieve the highest level of performance whilst ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. - Ensure the RDC operates a safe working environment and is compliant with all BMWNA, Federal, State, and Local policies and regulations.- Establish processes that safeguard all BMW assets, inventory and personnel. - Responsible for the development and implementation of medium and long-range strategies that improve distribution efficiencies, control costs and enhance the customer experience.- Prepare and maintain budgets for the facility (direct, overhead and capital- Manage building security and equipment maintenance, as required in conjunction with PA-4 and external vendors.- Responsible for the recruitment, evaluation, hiring and training of the RDC management and leadership team.- Review performance, set expectations, determine improvement opportunities, and provide frequent feedback for all direct reports.- Acknowledge good performance and address all employee behavioral issues.- Support staff with employee development, succession planning and managing subordinates.- Manage relationship with outside labor unions. Support grievance resolution and contract negotiations.- Manage relationship with local RDC vendors i.e. MHE, Packaging.- Assign individual and functional area performance and cost targets for direct reports. - Assist with employee behavioral issues and conflict resolution. - Periodically evaluate warehouse operational processes.- Responsible to share and implement best practices with BMW RDC network.We are looking for an experienced team member who enjoys diverse projects, who is self-motivated and comfortable working in a dynamic and creative environment. The pay range for this role is $114,067- $142,318. The selected candidate’s education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. Qualifikation: Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or business experience equivalence 5-7 years logistics/distribution experience 5 years of direct management/supervision experience Preferences Experience with budgeting and cost center management Experience managing third-party suppliers.
