ULTRASAT is a space mission mapping the ultra-violet sky. Its primary science objective is to search for counterparts of gravitational wave sources. The mission is led by the Weizmann institute of Science in Israel and the Israel Space Agency and is planned to be in orbit by 2028. DESY develops and produces the UV camera for the ULTRASAT mission.
- Active role in the ULTRASAT camera development
- Responsibility for the Quality Assurance of the camera
- Responsibility for Quality Assurance aspects of the infrastructure, e.g. cleanroom
- Quality Assurance point of contact for industry partners and the mission QA
- Participation in the testing of the camera
- Active role in mission review

Limited: 2 years
- Master's degree in space engineering, aeronautics, physics, material science or equivalent qualification
- Experience with space projects
- Good knowledge of English and the willingness to learn German
- Willingness to participate in expert and working meetings and conferences abroad
