Your main job duties as a (Senior) Enterprise Network Architect include the development of new concepts and solutions in the following areas
Support the identification and documentation of the Baseline and Target Network Architecture, identification of gaps and creation of the Network Architecture Roadmap
Align with Business, Architecture, Operations and Security subject matter experts to create, assess and review network architecture proposals
Developing technological architectures for our global transit network, as well as leading architecture and solution evaluations and making decisions to either „Make or Buy“
Creation and maintenance of reference architectures and harmonizing these with other architects within your area
Work as coach and mentor for team members, with an intuition for analyzing and solving technical problems

Strong understanding of network infrastructure, including security and network related technologies, and design architecture patterns on premise and on cloud (e.g. SD-WAN, VPC, BGP, ExpressRoute, Interconnect)
Experience in structuring and improving Enterprise Architecture and Network Architecture practices
Experience in designing and reviewing application centric architectures for large scale, distributed, low-latency systems
Confident handling of Version Control Systems in conjunction with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
Very good analytical skills with a strong agile mindset, high degree of willingness to be proactively engaged, with a hands-on mentality
Strong ability to think both analytically and conceptually
Ability to precisely explain complex issues
