Senior IT Solution Architect - Bundling Platform (f/m/d) Mercedes pay GmbH Juni 2022 Mercedes-Benz Mobility AG Senior IT Solution Architect - Bundling Platform (f/m/d) Mercedes pay GmbH Aufgaben WHAT WE DO Pay directly from the car: Mercedes pay supports, among other things, in-car payments as well as payment processing via app and in the web shop. We want customers’ contact with Mercedes pay and the payment transactions on the global platform to be as seamless as possible. We are also developing exciting new payment products and solutions to provide customers with an even better user and payment experience. WHO WE ARE Mercedes pay GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz Mobility AG. Mercedes pay plays a fundamental part in the mobility and digitalisation strategy of Mercedes-Benz Group AG. We operate the central payment processing platform and act as the competence centre for payments at Mercedes-Benz. Mercedes pay launched in its first market in September 2018. We are now active in more than 40 countries on five continents, processing transactions for Mercedes-Benz products and services. Depending on the market, Mercedes pay may process transactions from Mercedes me connect store, the Mercedes me app, in-car payments or even supporting online vehicle sales.WHAT YOU WILL DO: You will be involved in the development of new customer-facing products interconnecting Mercedes-Benz Mobility and Mercedes-Benz Cars as part of the Bundling Platform initiative You will collaborate with product managers and project leads by answering technical questions, conducting POC evaluations, and working with the product owners and external engineering teams to bridge any gaps You will drive the architecture transformation of Mercedes pay and lead the stakeholders in the transition to the target Mercedes pay IT architecture You will create the guiding principles and best practices for the target Mercedes pay architecture. You work closely together with external development teams and the internal QA, IT Ops, Project & Rollout and Business Ops teams to ensure smooth product rollouts, service, and operations You will create and steer documentation of data and application architecture You will develop data privacy and security best practices and guidelines within Mercedes pay You will support a concept for data usage and monetization Qualifikationen WHAT WE EXPECT You are an IT solution design professional You are experienced working as an IT solution architect with a solid engineering background in cloud-based and micro-service architectures Previous experiences as data architect are a plus such as big data frameworks and data warehouse platforms You show proven experience in using agile methodologies. Having worked with tools such Jira/Confluence is a plus You have good communication skills in English and have the passion to drive transformational changes in the organization. German is a plus.
