WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

In our Dangerous Goods & Customs classification unit, we ensure that our products can be transported worldwide in accordance with legal requirements. The position is available either in Frankfurt or Münster. 

    • In this position, you are the functional expert for the global Dangerous Goods classification, article release and packaging compliance.
    • Therefore, you identify relevant Dangerous Goods regulations and design global concepts to comply with those.
    • You are responsible for digitalizing, automating and harmonizing global Dangerous Goods process and interfaces with an end to end view.
    • Furthermore, you monitor upcoming regulations within the global network and develop IT implementation concepts accordingly.
    • As an active part of our global Dangerous Goods community, you interact with all relevant stakeholders along the transportation process.
    • By performing Dangerous Goods classification of products, raw materials and merchandizes, you build on your solid operational skills to derive process improvement.

WHAT YOU OFFER

  • successfully completed master's degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, logistics or comparable
  • several years of experience in chemical industry or related (e.g. Supply Chain management)
  • expert knowledge of Dangerous Goods proven by necessary certifications (ADR, IMDG, IATA), along with experience in Dangerous Goods classification
  • strong knowledge in SAP EHS, beneficial also knowledge of other SAP modules like TM, OTC as well as strong interest in automation tools and data-driven insights in general
  • project management knowledge and strong presentation skills, both in German and English
