Senior Specialist Digitalization - Cyber Security Advisory (m/f/d)

We as Global Digital Services enable BASF´s digitalization. In agile teams, we develop innovative digital solutions for BASF and its customers, create new exciting customer experiences and business growth, and drive efficiencies in processes. We provide IT that works and offer know-how and access to latest technologies in the areas of cloud computing, blockchain or big data.

The Cyber Security Architecture and Strategy team develops strategies and coordinates solutions to improve BASF's security posture.

• You advise on the evaluation of security requirements in consultation with all strategic business areas and support the development of security standards, which apply for all technologies of the IT- and product portfolio.
• Furthermore, you are responsible for initiation of security projects and the role of professional caretaker for such.
• You exchange your knowledge and collaborate across teams within the IT- organization.
• In addition, you communicate and coordinate with various internal stakeholders and communities to raise awareness for security during solution design and to add value for the business strategy.
• You develop and evaluate measures to reduce identified security risks, which have been construed from future threats as well as possibilities to improve business and innovations through secure technologies.

• degree in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, IT Security or Mathematics and relevant professional experience
• experience in cyber security architecture and consulting skills
• strong technical knowledge and fundamentals of IT/OT security e.g. network segmentation, firewalls, endpoint security, anomaly detection as well as Zero Trust
• experiences in the filed of evaluation and implementation of new cyber solutions
• certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP,OSCP
• good communication skills in English and fluent German skills
