As a Software Test Engineer (HIL & SIL) you are responsible for planning and designing of infrastructure software that supports testing environments Developing and maintaining HIL/SIL test scripts to validate the functionality and performance of the system under test. Conduct regression tests to ensure that software changes or enhancements do not introduce new defects or impact existing functionality. Measure and analyze the performance of software applications under different workloads to identify bottlenecks and optimize performance. Collaborate with the development team to investigate and resolve software defects, ensuring that fixes are properly verified. Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, incorporating industry best practices and emerging trends. What should you bring along? University degree in engineering sciences, electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable degree Several years of experience with validation processes in the field of electrical/electronic development In-depth knowledge of software and system development processes in an agile environment, knowledge of continuous integration/continuous delivery, cloud services, Git/GitHub, Zuul, etc. In-depth knowledge and deep understanding of development processes (V-model), norms and standards (ASPICE, ISO26262) and basic knowledge of electrical/electronic and software systems in vehicles are desirable. Ideally, you already have extensive experience in requirements engineering (CodeBeamer, DOORS), real-time systems as well as knowledge of Python, C/C++, and version management (Git, SVN).
