The Sr. Tech Business Developer will source and build strategic relationships with leading German enterprises in the senior care, healthcare, insurance and hospitality industries. You will be the “face of Alexa” with key customers, negotiating agreements, building joint solutions and managing engagement between Amazon and these customers toward continued success. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, as well as the technical understanding to problem-solve and drive deals across all stakeholders, including working with tech and product teams both internally and with partners. You will also be able to think creatively about business, product and technology, and map the intersection of customer needs and Amazon priorities.
Key job responsibilities
* Identify, evaluate and manage a pipeline of new enterprise opportunities in senior care, healthcare, insurance, and hospitality in Germany.
* Negotiate and close deals, working closely with legal, finance, and other cross functional teams.
* Work with product and tech teams to enable successful onboarding and growth of enterprise partners.
* Advocate internally for new features and functionality that will help facilitate a world-class Alexa experience for customers.
* Prepare and present business reviews to senior executives.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record in Business Development in the tech industry, ideally with experience in delivering B2B2C applications/solutions. You will need to grasp the big picture quickly, create ambitious goals, communicate the strategies to achieve these goals, and personally lead business development activities. You will need to inspire confidence and quickly build credibility in our partners and people. You will demonstrate strong commercial acumen and be comfortable navigating complex partner negotiations and leading the delivery of the solutions.

* Strong sales, negotiation and presentation skills; proven ability to close high value and high profile deals
* Fluency in English and German, both verbal and written
* Demonstrated effectiveness working across cross-functional teams internally and externally to achieve results
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
* Ability to operate in a fast-paced, innovative, and rapidly evolving industry and business organization
* Bachelor's degree in a Business or Technical field
* Experience working with technology to deliver end-consumer applications/solutions
* Proven ability to prospect, recruit, and manage executive C-level relationships, with both technical and non-technical audiences
* Network in and knowledge of the senior care/healthcare and/or hospitality market segments
* Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple responsibilities in parallel.
