We are looking for a Senior Product Manager in Berlin who will help us to make AWS CloudShell, AWS IDE Toolkits, and future developer tools the best way to build software for our customers. If you’re passionate about the developer experience, developer tools, and cloud computing, then we’d love to talk to you!

As a Sr. Technical Product Manager with the AWS Developer Experience team, you will get to help new and existing customer develop on the cloud and for the cloud and move their workloads.

This is a highly visible position that will interact at all levels of AWS. You will get to work with the latest tools and technologies to create next generation tools that help customers transition their workloads and develop process to the cloud. You’ll be able to work on cloud scale problems of incredible scope that impact millions of users and contribute to making the future of distributed software development. You will also get to work with some of the smartest people in the field who are pioneers in their fields.

Key job responsibilities
As a Sr. Technical Product Manager, you will:

Be a proponent of the DevOps movement and enable customers to create highly automated systems that solve their business needs
Work with engineering teams to translate customer needs into workable technology solutions that scale operationally
Interact with customers and internal stakeholders to formulate business strategies and shape product direction
Define and prioritize features and requirements and see them through from ideation to sprint planning and delivery
Perform customer interviews and surveys, analyze metrics, and conduct pricing and cost analyses
Synthesize external and internal data to drive clarity and alignment in your team through business writing such as narrative papers and PR-FAQs
Evangelize technology including authoring blogs and speaking at conferences

Utility Computing (UC)

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

GRUNDQUALIFIKATIONEN

- 5+ years of technical product management with internet business experience
- 5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience
- 3+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
- Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market
- Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)

BEVORZUGTE QUALIFIKATIONEN

- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies
