Whatever your heart’s desire – in the BMW Group, you will find a wide range of departments and disciplines across the world where you can share your professional passion with us.   Structure and Factory Planning Coordinator   As a Structure and Factory Planning Coordinator, you will be responsible for the structure, secondary media, and layout planning in e-drive production projects. You will also provide project management and/or support for engineering projects in production, including equipment (e.g., robotic or automated cells, vision systems) and structural scopes (e.g., warehouses, conveyors, mezzanines, civil). You will ensure that project implementations have minimal impact on operations. You will be the project lead for such projects from the strategic preliminary considerations for all planning phases (feasibility study, preliminary design, detailed design, etc.) to the handover to the user, taking into account project and technical requirements. In addition, you will coordinate all process partners in structural planning, secondary media planning, layout, process planning, logistics/materials handling planning, quality planning, technology development, construction planning/processing, and with external companies. You will also coordinate the specialist planning and commissioning of executing companies. Finally, you will ensure sustainable, innovative, and operationally optimal building concepts with the construction departments.     You Should have:   Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a multi-million dollar setting. Experience in construction/structural planning, building services engineering, secondary media planning, or layout planning in an automotive manufacturing environment. Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS-Project. Ability to use and apply statistical methods to aid with analysis (risk filters, FMEAs, SPC, process/machine capability). Knowledge of Microstation (CAD) and 3D layout programs.
