Train Control Engineer (f/m/d)

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WITH US:

- Verification of the application of the development, configuration, validation and management plan for TC&IS.
- Achieving the specified software quality requirements according to the system engineering and TCMS software quality plan and informing team members of their associated responsibilities.
- Ensuring quality in all areas of the project, such as the circuit diagram, equipment, software, etc.
- Leading the design planning and carrying out the design and verification checks in all phases of the design-for-quality cycle.
- Delivering all TC and IS engineering deliverables, including TCMS RSADs, software specifications or functional design descriptions (FDD), software, electrical schematics and electrical product definitions (supported by the lead electrical engineer), in accordance with technical quality and delay cost commitments.
- Interface management and ensuring the monitoring of subsystems such as electrical components, PACIS, CCTV, multimedia, TCMS, event recording, train-to-ground communication and ATC/safety equipment.

YOU CONVINCE US WITH:

- Successfully completed studies and extended knowledge in the electric or mechanical field.
- General experience in the railway or aerospace industry.
- At least 2 years of experience as a functional engineer for rolling stock in various train functions.
- At least 2 years of experience in team management and dealing with work packages.
- Practical experience in electrical and schematic design activities.
- Hands-on experience in design & development of model based control systems using application tools like Control Build, Matlab / Simulink, Matrix or similar tools.
- Knowledge of network topologies and interfaces for Serial, Ethernet, MVB and other industrial communication network.
- Very good knowledge of English and preferably German.
