    Stadler Rail Service UK Limited (SRS UK) is a subsidiary of Stadler, Switzerland. SRS UK provides a train maintenance service for a growing number of clients in the UK. In the next few years over 100 new Stadler trains will be joining the English railway network which signifies the start of an exciting future for Stadler in the UK.

    Train Presentation Programme Lead
    Your tasks

    • Provision of agreed train presentation service high standards in line with the service quality regime providing high customer services.
    • Provision of clean, well presented environmentally sustainable rolling stock (Class 507, 508, 777 and other fleet classes dictated by the company) to the performance standards required.
    • Manage standards for safe train care practices that meet the needs and requirement of our passengers and Merseyrail. This encompasses Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, COSHH, Safety management checks and any other related activities.
    • Maximise train presentation, cleaning products and equipment, ensuring maximum efficiency and controls are applied; responsibility shared with Supplies and Central Stores on this area.
    • Line management responsibility.
    • Oversee the Train Presentation team in achievement of the above. Monitoring staff and ensure high staff performance, delivery and accountability in the delivery of exceptional Train Presentation standards.
    • Audit and monitor quality standards, driving standards where required, improving work practices, updating work instructions and procedures.
    • Develop and deliver efficient Train Presentation rosters working in conjunction with the fleet service delivery, maintenance requirements and Production Managers.
    • Retain responsibility for compliance with environmental law and regulations and the management and implementation of environmental issues. Managing waste streams and delivering energy, water, recycling initiatives in line with the requirements of ISO 14001.
    • Maintain the context of ISO9001:2015 QMS
    • Responsible for budget management and delivery.
    • KPI, Lean Maintenance owner, documentation owner.
    • There will be a requirement for flexibility in order to ensure that standards are being driven and maintained across the shift system by the Train Presentation team
    • Ensure all tools and equipment are kept maintained in line with the company's quality procedures.
    • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for the delivery requirements within the contracted/specified timescales and guidelines.
    • Take the lead and ownership of representing SRSUK engineering in engagement and inter departmental initiatives, meetings
    Your profile

    • Health & Safety driven to the Health & Safety at Work Act 1975
    • Successful track record in implementation of change programs
    • Production experience gained in an operational environment
    • Good communication skills both verbal and written at all levels
    • IT literate to competent standard
    • Experience of implementing organisational and environmental improvements
    • Results focused and forward-thinking attitude
    • Strong leadership skills and willingness to develop a positive team working environment.
    • Financial / Budget Management
    • Experience of Rolling stock presentation
    • Experience of Rolling Stock operations, incident handling and experience
    • Environmental Awareness
    • Experience of Continuous Improvement
    • COSHH and Risk Assessment training
