WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

We are looking for a highly skilled and innovative AI Developer to join our dynamic team in the IT & Digital Transformation Performance Materials unit. This pivotal role involves developing cutting-edge AI applications that utilize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Large Language Model (LLM) integration. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing AI-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency and advance our digital transformation initiatives.

• As a Working Student AI Developer, you develop, test, and maintain AI applications that integrate Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Large Language Model (LLM) models to deliver high-quality outputs based on user queries and data inputs.
• You collaborate with data experts and managers to understand project requirements and define the scope of AI functionalities.
• Additionally, you participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the highest quality of software delivery while documenting the process.
• Finally, you stay updated with the latest advancements in AI technologies and best practices to continuously improve application performance and functionality.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• enrolled Master's student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or a related field
• strong programming skills in Python and experience with frontend technologies including HTML, CSS and Java Script, Angular is a plus
• familiarity with AI concepts, particularly deep learning, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Large Language Model (LLM) frameworks, along with a keen interest in exploring new technologies 
• excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
• Members from states outside the European Economic Area and Switzerland are requested to send their residence/work permit, including the relevant supplementary sheet as well as the completed questionnaire
