The Department - Bloomberg Customer Support: 
First impressions can make or break a client's perception of an organization. In the Bloomberg Customer Support team, we believe our job on the front line is about building a journey from the moment clients make an initial inquiry – to the very end where a solution is delivered in a fast, efficient manner. We solve client issues in real time over the phone and via Bloomberg Instant Messaging, by managing various client workflows and hardware/software issues or connecting them to the right teams for efficient resolution.   
 
We understand how our client issues relate to their workflows and asset-class needs. Working with critical information and highly sophisticated tools, we ensure the security of our clients' accounts and data. In addition, we set up, train, and connect our clients including CEOs and executive managers, to the various Bloomberg products and platforms they subscribe to. Our 500-person strong global team supports our clients collectively in more than 15 languages worldwide.

This is a 3-day personal and professional development program for high-potential University students graduating from all studies between January 2025 and August 2026 and who are particularly interested in a career in Bloomberg and FinTech. 
 
During the program, you’ll also have a chance to meet and hear from our Bloomberg Customer Support (BCS) alumni on how their time in BCS has equipped them with the invaluable knowledge, skills, and network to progress their long-term career at Bloomberg. 
 
You will be exposed to a wide array of topics, people and activities. We will cover everything from Bloomberg products to platinum Customer Service training, interviewing skills, and more! You will learn from some of the best in the industry and know how to apply this knowledge in a practical, fast-paced business environment. As you find out about our future internship and graduate opportunities, you will qualify for early interviews if you successfully complete the Bloomberg Academy.

    All attendees are guaranteed a future interview for 2025 BCS Summer Internship position or 2025 BCS Full-Time position if they successfully complete the Bloomberg Academy. 
     
    You’ll need to have: 
  • Graduating from all studies between January 2025 and August 2026 
  • Demonstrable interest in Finance and/ or Technology and the aspiration for a future career in Bloomberg Customer Support Department or to work in the financial/fintech services industry   
  • Ability to provide outstanding customer service to clients through live, interactive media (e.g. phone, messaging, etc.) 
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and ability to retain information 
  • Ability to communicate effectively and articulate thought process clearly 
  • Business proficiency and fluency in English and any of the following languages: Cantonese, Mandarin, or Korean, to communicate with respective clients in the future 
  • All degree disciplines are welcome to apply. Our aim is to have a diverse intake of candidates.

    We would love to see: 
  • Experience in customer support through summer jobs or internships  
  • Aptitude to work within highly connected and software-based systems
