Position Objective:
Execute administrative functions in support of Technical Training operations and projects including process efficiency improvements using advanced functions in programs like Excel. Additionally, assist on an ad-hoc basis with various training processes and issues.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with business tasks related to budgeting, vehicle usage, and curriculum planning
  • Assist with invoices, purchase requisitions, and purchase orders
  • Support weekly classes with learning management system administration tasks
  • Audit fleet management documentation to ensure it is current
  • Maintain and improve process documents programmed with advanced VBA functions
  • Provide ad-hoc assistance on projects
QualificationsQualifications

Qualifications:

Education/Skills/Experience/Certifications:

  • Required to work at OPD at least 3 days each week
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Communications, Economics, Education, Finance, Computer Science or IT (minimum of 3 years completed)
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel functions including VBA coding, use of arrays, & pivot tables
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral
  • Analytical thinking skills that can comprehend the big picture and drill down to the details
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office suite applications
  • Background or knowledge in the automotive field is preferred but not required

Physical requirements

  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.
