The Digital Technical Operations Engineering team is specialized in delivering of Part-21J design services, aircraft subcontracted Continuing Airworthiness Management Tasks (SCAMT), aircraft Asset & Transition Management and offering of additional Engineering Services.

Our DTE Sofia/Budapest branches are looking to hire an EASA Part-21J Design Engineer (DE) with experience in aircraft cabin.

  • Perform Part-21J Design Engineer (DE) activities in developing of design solutions for LHT customers, including: the Description of Change, preparation of the Design Data, Compliance Substantiation Data, Component & System specifications, Test Programmes & Test Plans, etc.
  • Perform CAMO/SCAMT activities:

- Evaluate AD, SB, SL, etc. to determine implementation & create associated work instructions

- Analyze technical fleet complaints/faults in order to develop & implement measures to improve the aircraft reliability

- Plan technical measures on aircraft, create the associated work instructions & coordinate implementation

- Participate in Aircraft Maintenance Programme (AMP) amendment & analysis its effectiveness

  • Prepare necessary reports
  • Support other engineering tasks

  • Completed University degree in aeronautical, mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Have a Part-21J Design Engineer (DE) authorisation and working experience within an EASA Part-21 Subpart J Design Organisation
  • Experience in development of Part-21J cabin interior changes will be an advantage
  • Previous CAMO experience or experience as licensed maintenance mechanic (EASA Part 66 CAT B1.1 or B2) will be an advantage
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
  • Very good PC skills of Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and quality
  • High sense of responsibility and strong personal initiative
  • Can work effectively under pressure, multi-task and prioritise
  • Well-organized and able to work independently
  • Good negotiation and persuasion skills, as well as assertiveness
  • Able to work in multi-site and multi-cutural teams
  • Communicative and team player
  • Customer orientated
  • Open to business trips abroad
