Your Role
- Concept and design of Android In-Vehicle-Infotainment System.
- Collection and alignment of new requirements with internal customers, external ones and with partners.
- Definition, design and modelling of the SW architecture as well as interfaces between platform / base SW, middleware and applications.
- Technical coordination of implementation and verification phases.
- Contribution to the definition of Architecture guidelines as well as review, approval or rejection of submitted changes.
- Willingness to share knowledge and train colleagues.
Your Profile
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a similar subject with tertiary qualification in a relevant electronic or information technology field, preferably with software development or software engineering elements.
- Excellent knowledge of *nix operating systems, especially Linux as well as several years of practical experience with Android Automotive on application and ideally on system level (kernel, system services, framework and build environment).
- Evidence of at least five years’ experience in embedded software development working with programming languages as well as build and collaboration tools, such as C/C++, Java, Jira, Subversion, git, gerrit, Jenkins.
- A good knowledge of scripting and shell programming will help you in your daily work.
- Experience with hardware resource allocation, including RAM, CPU, and NVM management.
- Self-initiative and solid communication skills are essential for this role.
- Experience working in complex and dynamic team environments in close collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Nice to have: practical experience with Android GAS certification (Google Automotive Services) and with adaptive AUTOSAR.
- Fluent in German and English.
