Within this project, the handling of the cells on a liquid handling robot (pipetting robot) must be established and investigated.
Your tasks include:
- Establishment of aseptic cell handling with liquid handling robots (e.g. induction of cells, transfer and sterilisation)
- Establishment of work protocols for various liquid handling robots
- Routine cultivation of human cells with determination of live cell counts, as well as the preparation of substrate and metabolite concentration sequences
- Research and (independent) design of experiments
- Detailed documentation and evaluation of the results according to common scientific practice
- Motivation, creativity and independent work
- Study of biology, medical technology, biotechnology or similar disciplines
- Experience and knowledge in cell culture
- Practical experience in dealing with human cells and in programming is an additional advantage
