Tasks

When you join our team, you will:

  • Design, implement, further develop and oversee requirements from ISO 27001, EASA Part-IS and if applicable, national regulatory requirements(e.g., NIS2)within the AMS segment(Budapest, Malta, Milano, Puerto Rico, Sofia)as a Business Information Security Officer in close cooperation with an LHT central unit
  • Identify, assess, and report security risks
  • Coordinate, support, and accompany audits together with AMS specialist departments and central departments(e.g., T/TQ, T/TI)
  • Establish and regularly report on information security topics in the AMS segment to management
  • Operate the Occurrence Reporting System according to EASA Part-IS requirements,among others
  • Design workshops
  • Advise management,executives,employees of the AMS segment on information security issues

Lufthansa Technik Sofia is part of the Lufthansa Technik base maintenance network. It performs heavy maintenance checks on the Airbus 320 family and Boeing B737 Classic and B737 NG. The company is situated at Sofia airport and operates since October 2008.

Requirements

You match our need, if you have:

  • Completed Technical or Business university with Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or Information Systems,Cyber Security, or a related to these disciplines certification
  • Very good knowledge of information security standards(e.g.,ISO 27001) or management system standard as well as basic understanding of cyber security principles,risks,frameworks and regulations(e.g.,NIS2)
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in quality/project management/information security/IT, or a related field
  • Very good communication and management skills
  • Very good English skills
  • Very good IT skills (MS Office,Excel,Word,PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Very good analytical skills
  • Ability to structure,organize,plan complex workflows and matters
  • Conflict management skills
  • Willingness to work domestically and travel abroad
