Position Overview
The Event Manager is responsible for the development, planning and execution of all automotive event platforms for the region Latin America. This includes but is not limited to marketing-based drive events, motor shows/exhibitions, motorsports events, engagement activities, partnerships and sponsorships as well as internal events (e.g. investor/importer conferences).
The position works in close coordination with relevant Porsche AG departments, the local importers and the regional marketing agency. The individual must professionally interact with internal departments (esp. Marketing Communication) to ensure that all event programs follow company directives, are delivered on time and adhere to Porsche brand standards. This position will also have a high level of interaction with customers/prospects and will be required to act as the face of the brand by delivering brand aspiration and fascination.
The Event Manager will set the strategy and direction for all core automotive related brand-oriented programs, motorsports as well as partnerships and sponsoring initiatives for the region Latin America. Decisions made will affect operationally and strategically relevant areas of customer excitement and brand loyalty.
Porsche Latin America supports a network of 16 importers and 41 Porsche Centers throughout 22 countries in Central and South America, and the Caribbean. Our mission is to build and maintain positive relationships with our customers, importers and local partners.
The salary range for this role is $90,000.00-$115,000.00 per year. However, it is important to note that at Porsche compensation range is dependent on geographic location. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skillset.
Porsche reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness.

Qualifications
Education
- 4 year degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field
Experience
- Minimum 5 years working experience in marketing operations and/or event management in the automotive or luxury consumer goods industry with international companies (preferably with Latin America and Europe).
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in English and Spanish languages required; German language skills beneficial
- Good presentation skills

Physical requirements:
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.
- This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. The noise level in the work environment and job site can be loud.
