WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

As a Global Digital Process Engineer, you are part of global digitalization team for chemical catalysts in operations. You work very closely with the production sites in Nienburg and Ludwigshafen as well as with global functions like the Continuous Improvement experts.

• In your new role, you collaborate with a global team to analyze and interpret production and business KPIs to provide insights to support strategic decision making.
• You prepare and aggregate data into concise summaries and visualizations, ensuring clarity and accessibility for stakeholders.
• Additionally, you integrate multiple data sources into Power BI, creating interactive dashboards and visualizations that highlight critical business insights.
• You manage and configure individual digital application cases, including the creation of customized dashboards tailored to specific needs
• Acting as an interface with specialist departments and service providers in automation and digitization, you initiate and drive new projects and initiatives.
• You also implement standard inquiries independently while supporting strategic digitization projects on-site, incorporating change management practices to ensure stakeholder readiness, effective communication and successful adoption of new systems.
• Furthermore, you look for new technologies and act as a multiplier in the team, ensuring that everyone is up to date with the latest advancements and can effectively utilize new tools and systems.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Automation Technology, Process Engineering with strong affinity for digitalization or a related field
• strong knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform and cloud technologies
• proficiency in German and English, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
• experience in low-code programming and the in development of interactive applications
• strong analytical thinking ability and a goal-oriented work style, with a focus on achieving results
