Head of Design Systems (m/f/d)

You have a degree with a focus on User Experience, Service Design or a comparable qualification and already have many years of professional experience in the User Experience and Design System environment.

Furthermore, you are characterized by the following knowledge and skills:

• Many years of experience in architecting and managing scalable design systems that elevate user experience
• Passion for translating complex design challenges into intuitive, cohesive solutions
• Many years of experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to align design system standards and advanced tools with product development goals
• Passion for driving innovation through emerging design trends in combination with many years of experience of advanced prototyping techniques
• Experience in developing and maintaining detailed design documentation and component libraries
• Many years of experience in combining design craft with deep understanding of frontend standards, native UI patterns, and platform conventions like web and mobile apps
• Many years of experience of user experience and design of high-tech international consumer products
• Many years of experience in mentoring creative teams to foster a culture of design excellence and continuous improvement
• Many years of experience in strategic design projects and related execution to optimize design work flows and processes
• Several years of experience in the independent and binding planning and management of new topics
• Strong experience with a holistic (integrated) perspective
• Strong knowledge of budget and cost management
• Strong knowledge of technical standards around frontends and native user interfaces
• Excellent experience in classic and agile forms of cooperation
