Head of Materials & Processes (m/f/d)
These are your tasks:
You will take over the technical and disciplinary management of the employees assigned to you and you are responsible for employees’ qualifications and development.
You will plan and monitor the Material & Processes capacities to ensure the on-time, on-cost and quality-based development, qualification and introduction into serial production of new materials, manufacturing processes and standard parts.
You will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of the DIEHL Aviation internal material standards and standard parts.
You will be responsible for material & processes related tasks within the product development process within the strategic business unit Cabin Interiors of Diehl TK Aviation.
You support the internal stakeholders by ensuring the material & processes deliverables to achieve their targets and goals.
Who we are looking for:
You have successfully completed a degree as an engineer in the field of aircraft construction, plastics technology with a specialization in process technology or a comparable qualification.
You have several years of experience in the development of materials and manufacturing processes, ideally in the field of lightweight design and composites manufacturing.
You have very good knowledge of the product development process of the aviation industry.
You have already led a team and have a cooperative and outcome-orientated way of working.
You have a good command of English, both written and spoken, and you are able to provide professional guidance and support to our colleagues in Hungary and Mexico.
