CONTEXT Position purpose Reporting to a Senior Legal Director, in the Global Legal Industrial Affairs team, this Corporate Counsel as a Legal business partner shall ensure that the Industrial Affairs Specialty Care activity (implemented mainly in : Frankfurt, Paris and Boston) is adequately and timely supported from a legal standpoint, hence supporting such IA business by providing corresponding clients with reliable and timely legal advice. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Under the lead of a Senior Legal Director Drafting and negotiating contracts that IA Specialty Care corresponding activities encompass, such as Manufacturing and Supply Agreements (Drug Substance or Finished Products), Development Agreements, Supply Agreements, settlement agreements, amendments, letters; Managing any pre-litigation and litigation situation Developing templates and contracting tools adapted to the Specialty Care business aiming at increasing the efficiency of the support and simplifying the contract process Ensuring appropriate trainings of the Business teams Minimizing risk by preventive counselling and providing Business Partners sound legal advices in accordance with all applicable legal requirements and internal policies Contribute to working groups within LEBI 8+ years law firm and time spent in-house with a Pharmaceutical Company, experience in an industrial related activity would be a plus Excellent command of the English language both verbal and written Job location: Open PROFILE Professional skills Proficient in contract negotiation and drafting (in English and French) Autonomy and direct responsibility for drafting and negotiation Working knowledge of regulations and laws impacting the pharmaceutical industry Strong curiosity for the business Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and to identify priorities Strong ability to identify and analyze issues and provide tailor made solutions which require creativity, and balanced advice regarding risks (Thoughtful Risk-Taking approach) Personal skills Good sense of persuasion, capacity to challenge the status quo, ability to keep a positive attitude whatever the tough and stressful moments Proactive, agile, pragmatic and able to function in both transversal and matrix organization Team player is a must At Sanofi diversity and inclusion is foundational to how we operate and embedded in our Core Values.
