Forschung / Vorentwicklung München 04.03.2024 Intern Real-time dynamic graph modeling (f/m/x) THE BEST INTERNSHIP IN THEORY - AND IN PRACTICE. SHARE YOUR PASSION. World-leading technologies don’t make it into a BMW until they’ve undergone one of the most challenging journeys imaginable. It takes dynamic teams with outstanding technical skills to take them from the drawing board to the road. That’s why our experts will treat you as part of the team from day one, encourage you to bring your own ideas to the table – and give you the opportunity to really show what you can do. We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied internship in the area of real-time dynamic graph modeling. The project's goal is to develop a real-time dynamic graph model that will monitor and forecast passenger interactions employing data from in-vehicle camera sensors. The graph automatically adjusts to consider variations in the association between the occupants, improving safety and the vehicle's response to in-cabin events. The model will predict future behaviors and interactions of the occupants.   What awaits you? Modeling & predicting states, behaviors, & interactions within the vehicle using machine learning, computer vision, & graph theory techniques. Render and process in-vehicle camera sensor data to identify and track occupants and objects. Implement object detection, activity recognition, and tracking to accurately interpret occupant behaviors and states. Utilize graph theory to construct and dynamically update a graph model representing the relationships and interactions among detected entities. Implement predictive algorithms to forecast future occupant behaviors and interactions, identifying potential risks and intervention opportunities. Conduct experiments to evaluate the performance and effectiveness of the developed model. Analyze results and iterate on the model design based on findings. What should you bring along? Master’s degree in computer science, data science, or related field. Strong proficiency in python programming language and familiarity with relevant frameworks and libraries (e.g., tensorflow, pytorch, opencv, numpy, pandas, etc,). Good fundamental knowledge of graph theory, docker, and git. Solid understanding of graph-based modeling, optimizing graph algorithms (traversal, search, etc,), and graph data structures. Programming skills with experience using libraries relevant to graph theory and network analysis (e.g., NetworkX, igraph). What do we offer? Comprehensive mentoring & onboarding. Personal & professional development. Work-Life-Balance & flexible working hours. Mobile work. Attractive remuneration. Apartment offers for employees (subject to availability & only Munich). And many other benefits - see jobs/benefits   You enjoy learning new things and broaden your horizon?
