We are looking for an intern to support our soil monitoring activities at our site in Limburgerhof as soon as possible. As a member of our sustainability team for Agricultural Solutions in Germany, you will primarily support our scientific efforts on the monitoring of agricultural soils.
- In your role, you revise and consolidate existing scientific evidence from peer-reviewed journals and German grey literature.
- Part of your responsibility is sampling and analysis of soil organic carbon concentration and soil bulk density at an ongoing field experiment located in Rhineland-Pfalz and managed by BASF.
- You use soil data generated from this experiment and apply it to statistical and/or process-based modelling of biogeochemical processes.
- enrolled master's student in agricultural sciences or a comparable field of study
- profound knowledge in agricultural research and pedology
- basic knowledge of statistics programs and Microsoft Excel as well as mathematical models
- excellent communication skills in English
- A hybrid working model can be arranged for this position.
