As an IT Product Manager you will act as the central interface between business stakeholders, operations, internal IT teams in Germany, and external service providers. You will combine functional understanding of HR processes with technical expertise to maintain reliable system operations!

As an IT Product Manager you will act as the central interface between business stakeholders, operations, internal IT teams in Germany, and external service providers. You will combine functional understanding of HR processes with technical expertise to maintain reliable system operations!

Tasks
  • Manage HR IT applications within the SAP and non-SAP landscape, ensuring stable and efficient daily operations
  • Act as Product Owner for assigned HR applications; incident ownership and 3rd level support coordination
  • Ensure smooth operation of applications supporting global business processes
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders, process owners, operations teams, and external IT providers
  • Collect, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical solutions together with international IT teams
  • Design and implement new functionalities and application enhancements
  • Monitor interfaces and automated processes to ensure performance, integrity, and optimal system usage
  • Drive automation and digitalization initiatives within supported HR processes
  • Manage providers and service delivery in line with agreed SLAs
  • Coordinate releases, upgrades, and testing activities
  • Handle escalations and ensure timely resolution of major incidents
  • Maintain system documentation and oversee application customizing

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business Informatics or related field
  • Min. 3 years of experience managing business-critical IT systems
  • Experience in requirements engineering and translating business needs into IT solutions
  • Solid functional and technical understanding of enterprise IT environments
  • Experience in provider/vendor management and service delivery coordination
  • Practical experience in application operations and service management
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Fluent English
  • Knowledge of SAP technologies
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central is highly preferred
  • Understanding of HR processes and HR system landscapes
  • German will be an asset
  • Willingness to participate in international projects and business travel
