THE ROLE As an (Associate) Developer (f/m/d) of the SAP Data Warehouse Cloud Data Marketplace team, you work in an innovative cloud environment and being part of an agile team alongside experienced colleagues and early talents. You will be involved in the full development cycle, from discussing requirements with our (internal) customers, to design, architecture, implementation, bug fixing and troubleshooting. Supporting maintenance, CI/CD and DevOps are also tasks of your new role. Additionally, you could organize parts of the agile development process within the team. You will support stakeholders and collaborate with members from other teams in the SAP Data Warehouse Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP HANA organizations. ROLE REQUIREMENTS - Very good university bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields - Willingness to work creatively and patiently on challenging tasks in accordance with the highest technical standards, plus a high level of commitment, team-spirit, flexibility and initiative - Knowledge in Web technologies (JavaScript, Node.js or TypeScript) and experience with test-driven development, unit tests and CI/CD - Database and SQL knowledge - Very good team player with extraordinary soft skills - Openness towards new technologies - Good Analytical skills, Cloud mindset, entrepreneurial drive, ability to “think out of the box” - Good communication skills in English and in German (verbal and written) WORK EXPERIENCE We are looking for candidates with first relevant work experience in development ABOUT THE TEAM SAP Data Warehouse Cloud is part of SAP Business Technology Platform, which offers users the ability to turn data into business value, compose end-to-end business processes, and build and extend SAP applications quickly.
