The World Wide Deals and Promotions group is looking for an Data Science Manager with experience in leading diverse teams to build and deliver automated solutions that delight customers. You will lead a team of applied data scientists, software development, business intelligence and data engineers.
As an Data Science Manager, you and your team will create and deliver on roadmaps for forward-looking research and product innovation, identify research directions and communicate them to senior leadership. You'll have experience taking invention to production and be passionate about using scientific research to deliver value to customers.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Berlin, BE, DEU
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, machine learning or equivalent quantitative field
- Experience directly managing scientists or machine learning engineers
- Experience in building quantitative solutions as a scientist or science manager
- Experience in software development (software design and development life cycle)
- Experience working with data engineers/business intelligence engineers collaboratively
- Knowledge of Python or R or other scripting language
- Experience as a data scientist or similar role
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and programming languages
- A desire to learn new techniques and technologies
- Oral and written communication skills
- Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, machine learning or equivalent quantitative field
- Experience in a least one area of Machine Learning (NLP, Regression, Classification, Clustering, or Anomaly Detection)
- Experience with fairness in machine learning and artificial intelligence to detect and remove bias in ML/AI systems
- Relevant training and/or certifications as a Data Scientist
