RESPONSIBILITIES

In our efforts to refine toxicological experimentation, we are working on developing tools and methods to use data from already performed studies to enhance design and interpretation of future studies. During this 6 month master project:

  • You will collect and prepare historical data for toxicological in vivo studies.
  • Moreover you will perform statistical analysis of the relevant historical data and build models for deriving correlations among various measured endpoints in the data.
  • You will evaluate the impact of these correlations on the interpretation of study data.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or other areas related to Data Science
  • scripting/programming capabilities (e.g., in R or Python) and basic training in statistics
  • experience in working with data from the life sciences as well as an understanding of toxicological in vivo studies is an advantage.
  • strong communication skills in English to explain scientific results to an interdisciplinary team
