Tasks
Join our team as a Level 2 Technician, responsible for end-to-end aircraft and engine component maintenance. You will repair, inspect, troubleshoot and certify work in full compliance with aviation regulations and approved maintenance instructions.
Your tasks as NDT Level 2 may include, among others:
- Performing non-destructive material testing on aircraft and engine parts, using penetrant testing (PT) and magnetic testing (MT) methods, including documentation
- Etching of aircraft and engine components for PT
- Testing and maintaining testing equipment and accessories
- Designing and improving testing equipment (supporting role)
- Instruct and supervise employees and temporary staff, and provide instruction on new systems, devices and testing equipment
- Supporting the continuous improvement of processes
- Structure, plan, and schedule complex work and technical processes
- Collaborate with team members to resolve technical challenges and optimize workflow
- Documentation of work completed using relevant software.

Requirements
We are seeking a Level 2 Technician with proven technical expertise in aircraft and engine component maintenance, capable of working independently, complying with aviation regulations, and delivering high-quality, safety-critical results.
- Completed vocational training in a metalworking profession, e.g. automotive mechanic/technician, aircraft mechanic, materials tester, industrial mechanic, locksmith, toolmaker, electro plater
- Completed training as NDT Level 2 in accordance with DIN EN 4179/NAS 410
- Experience in the aviation industry/maintenance companies
- Willingness to acquire any additional qualifications/training required
- Assertiveness, independence in decision-making
- Very good written/spoken English/Portuguese and computer (MS Office, SAP, etc.) skills
- Ability to structure, schedule, and plan complex work processes
