Tasks

What will you be responsible for?

  • As a Non-Destructive Test Technician at LTLGS, you will perform a range of NDT inspections on aircraft components within a fast-paced MRO environment.
  • Using techniques such as MPI, FPI, Ultrasonic, Eddy Current, Barkhausen and Nital etch, you will ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
  • You will work closely with production teams to resolve technical issues, maintain accurate records including PER logs, support method sheet development and ensure equipment and certification remain current.
  • All duties are carried out in line with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

What you’ll need?

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
  • Valid NDT Level 2 authorisation (EN4179 or recognised equivalent) in one or more required disciplines
  • Knowledge of EASA/CAA/FAA regulations and EASA 145 requirements
  • Aerospace apprenticeship (desirable)
  • Experience in an aerospace or MRO environment
  • Good IT skills (SAP or similar systems, Microsoft Excel)
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices
  • Ability to manage complex tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • Good planning skills with a flexible approach
  • Fluent English (written and verbal)
  • Commitment to maintaining certification and professional development
  • Flexibility to work shift schedules
