Tasks

Reporting to the Production Support Manager, the PEP Engineer is responsible for the work scope compilation of all Mobile Engine Services (MES) Events and Airline Support (AST) events. MES offers three types of services:On-wing repairs, On-site repairs, and Repair station repairs.

  • Set the maintenance work in cooperation with the Customer Support Engineers, Event Operation Center and Customer Service
  • Drafting / creating / revising Job cards which are used to carry out required maintenance tasks
  • Consult and provide support for engine maintenance
  • Recording and reporting of observed engine hardware condition
  • Co-ordinate with OEM as required to support maintenance events
  • Support MES inStation Events and inField (AST) events (potentially out of regular business hours)
  • Provide planning and control data, establish, maintain and improve master data for sequence planning.
  • Assist with the Training and Development of Junior MES PEP.
  • Coordinate with the MES product centre regarding MES standards

Specific qualifications

  • Degree in a relevant engineering discipline i.e. Aeronautical, Mechanical, Industrial or equivalent experience through long-time working in an engine MRO or aircraft maintenance environment
  • Experience in engine MRO desirable i.e. Repair, inspection, operations, planning or engineering
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, procedures, tooling and documentation relating to Jet engine maintenance
