RESPONSIBILITIES

Our Planning Process Control Technology (PLT) units handle automation technology and electrical engineering for investment projects in our various divisions. With our work, we design BASF's production processes to be sustainable and climate-friendly.

  • You plan the process control technology (PCT) for our large-scale chemical plants in Europe on schedule and on budget.
  • You will develop concepts and be the technical contact person for our customers and external suppliers.
  • As a technical consultant, you will coordinate measures with the specialist units and external service providers involved.
  • By implementing innovative solutions, you drive the digitalization of BASF.
  • Furthermore, you will select and procure equipment and provide technical leadership to suppliers.
  • You will have the opportunity to develop yourself within the project management.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • degree in physics, preferably also with a doctorate
  • ideally several years of professional experience in process control engineering, control engineering, electrical engineering or as physicist
  • knowledge in project management as well as in plant design
  • development of creative solutions and identification of the needs of customers and partners
  • fluent German and English
  • mobility, flexibility and willingness to relocate within Europe
