Within our global team Environmental Fate and Structure you will work as a PostDoc for two years to optimize the environmental profile of potential crop protection agents.
- In your new role, you design, implement, and manage lab automation workflows.
- This includes digitalization of lab processes and optimization of data flows.
- Development and optimization of high throughput assays in the field of environmental fate of small molecules are part of your tasks.
- Moreover, you get the opportunity to program and operate liquid handling systems.
- Last but not least, you play a crucial role in project planning, coordination and presentation and you interact with multidisciplinary teams.
- doctorate in a scientific discipline and/or computer sciences
- expertise in lab automation and connectivity and ideally hands-on experience with liquid handling systems
- strong background in data analysis and data management as well as passion for streamlining laboratory processes
- experienced in programming languages such as Python, R, MatLab
- very good organizational skills, including project coordination, document and time management
- excellent communication skills in English, advanced knowledge of German desirable
