Procurement Consultant (m/f/d)

• Provide expert advice and support to internal clients in the procurement of Management Consulting (MC) services, along the whole process from scoping to contracting.
• Negotiate and manage terms and conditions independently.
• Manage the interface to Global Procurement (GP), with a focus on information management, best practice transfer and overall coordination.
• Continuously improve the operational procurement processes and guidelines within the unit and ensure audit-proof process documentation.
• Create SAP and data reports for external MC services.
• Support and act as backup for PCS Support and PCS Senior Project Manager as required.

Ideally, you bring the following experiences and competencies to the team:

• Bachelor's degree in the fields of economics, business or science
• professional experience in procurement, ideally with consulting or project experience
• expertise in project management methods, consulting methodologies and approaches, purchasing processes and understanding of relevant governance frameworks
• profound knowledge of MS Office applications as well as SAP/R3 COBALT and SAP Business Warehouse (BW)
• excellent communication skills in English, German is a plus
• open-minded, inclusive and reliable team player
