Procurement Officer

The purpose of the position of procurement is to manage all the procurement requests of the company in accordance with procedures in place and related agreements to guarantee a smooth process.

• Ensures that the supply chain needs of the company are met in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Reviews costs, establishes relationships with vendors and suppliers, and offers suggestions for the products that are to be bought
• Ensures that products are delivered in a timely manner, and that the quality of the goods received is satisfactory
• Negotiates with contractors on price, mode of shipping, and delivery time
• Checks invoices for accuracy
• Conducts suppliers risk evaluation as per company procedures
• Places Purchase Orders for the required goods and services
• Maintains the company’s contracts database and archive to keep it up to date
• Reviews contracts and provides input when needed
• Is continuously updated with the latest changes in the group procedures and applies them accordingly in our processes
