Product Manager, FI Corporate Actions

Within our Core Terminal business, Fixed Income is a key priority. As we look to build on the value proposition our clients have come to depend on, we will continue to drive thought leadership and remain a key partner to our clients through continuous innovation. To continue to build upon our Core Fixed Income offerings, Bloomberg is hiring a Fixed Income Product Manager focusing on Corporate Actions.

As part of the Fixed Income Credit team, you will be focused on providing our clients with all the tools they need to identify, analyze, and track a variety of FI-related corporate action events. Your goal will be to make Bloomberg Corporate Actions dataset easy to access and consume by Bloomberg users. To accomplish this, you’ll be working as part of a team that will build a modern, robust, reliable and scalable infrastructure so that clients can easily and accurately search, find, monitor and leverage robust datasets to provide best-in-class corporation actions.

• Work with key internal stakeholders across Bloomberg, including Enterprise Product and Enterprise Data, to understand lifecycle management within the corporate action world including a deep knowledge of Loans Corporate actions.
• Work with Market Specialists and Analytics to maintain a high level of client outreach and bring client stakeholders together to discuss market developments and requirements across the public and private markets.
• Work with the Data team to improve the coverage and timeliness of data capture and dissemination across all fixed income markets.
• Work with our clients and the Engineering team to enhance and build out the Fixed Income Corporate action offering.
• Work with Bloomberg Intelligence, News and other stakeholders to build awareness around the corporate actions solutions we offer to clients.
• Develop a roadmap and lead execution through an agile development process, documenting requirements in our internal systems.
• Be customer centric and focus on understanding the client’s problems.
• Deliver value to our clients by creating a premium offering.
• Deliver value against clear and measurable outcomes.
• Focus on ease of use where we deliver interoperability, consistency, and alignment.
• Influence your teammates, colleagues, stakeholders, and key executives through your use of data and logic.

• 5+ years of relevant experience*
• Significant product and domain knowledge in fixed income corporate actions gained from a role at a firm actively involved in this discipline.
• A good understanding of market structure and the many factors impacting our clients as they look to better deliver to their constituents.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Proven technical, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• An ability to understand other team's business goals and find mutually beneficial solutions. 
• Ability to develop relationships and engagement without direct reporting line authority.
