Production Unit Leader Apply now Production Unit Leader Description Directs and coordinates activities of personnel engaged in the following areas of a manufacturing department: rolling, forming, brazing, bending, assembly, and quality assurance to attain production goals consistent with cost, quality and delivery requirements.Makes sure that production process is following the parameters specified by the Industrial and Quality engineers and in accordance with the work safety and environmental requirements.Organizes the activity of the subordinate: Shift Leaders, Setters and Operators including motivation and promotion of continuous improvement ideas.Generates productivity reports, head counts calculation and other operations metrics.Directs daily department activities in order to meet production goals with cost efficient processes.Reviews and establishes material, equipment and manpower resource requirements.Coordinates production activities with other functional groups such as planning, industrial, quality and logistic in order to assure production efficiency.Defines actions for scrap reduction and involves other departments like Quality, Process Engineering, IE, Logistics in scrap reduction projects.Has to organize personal recruiting.Supports the department’s environmental audits, plan and implement corrective actions when necessary. Qualifications Technical University Degree;3 years experience on a similar position;Fluency in English;Showcase good leadership and motivation skills to lead different people with different abilities and character traits;Strong communication & negotiation skills;Has knowledge about environmental management system, environmental policy, environmental objective, targets and programs;MS Office & ERP knowledge.
