ABOUT THIS ROLE
Based in Berlin, Audible GmbH is looking for a Publisher Relations Coordinator - Italy, who supports the Publisher Relations team in the execution, coordination and finalization of processes related to contract management, as well as contributing to initiate and build solid relationships, and support negotiations for audiobook acquisitions from book and audiobook publishers, with a focus on Italian language publishers. In this context, the Publisher Relations Specialist - Italy acts as an interface with the deal operations, legal, taxes and finance departments, and is supporting the team in a wide variety of relationships and negotiations to reach our ambitious goals.
As a Publisher Relations Specialist - Italy, you will...
- Support the development of the quality and productivity of relationships with Publishing houses assigned to your team
- Help to structure, initiate, and conduct negotiations for deals as part of the day-to-day relations with the team’s key publishing vendors
- Support the European content acquisition teams with know-how from negotiations with the different Italian rightsholders, according to evolving business needs
- Collaborate closely with the local European and global Audible teams to foster synergies and efficiencies across our Publisher Relations efforts to serve our European audiences and publishers
- Be the first point of contact for external requests and support the team with various administrative and project-related tasks as well as presentations
- Leverage analysis of key business drivers, trends and performance indicators to improve the quality and quantity of the Italian language catalogues and give support to the team in acquiring the best content
- Be responsible for proper communication with Italian publishers and content partners regarding administrative tasks
- Coordinate the contract administration and monitor specific deals to guarantee internal documentation and processing in time
- Contribute to different strategic projects as required

- Bachelor Degree
- Experience in Italian Publishing Industry
- Business Fluency in English and Italian
- Experience in international intellectual property rights licensing businesses (preferable from the wider media, television, film or computer game industry)
- Additional language skills in French, German and/or Italian are a plus
- Strong communication skillset (verbal and written English and Italian); with the ability to effectively communicate complex deal terms in a convincing and simple manner
- Hands-on experience with negotiation in Italian and English
- Ability to operate in a high-energy, high-intensity and rapidly evolving environment
- Ability to communicate clearly, calm and business goal orientated, also in difficult negotiations and under narrow timelines
