Position Objective:
This position is responsible for leading and coordinating the daily processing of dealer return activity. This position will act as a working lead and will be responsible for all return activities that occur within the department and backing up the Parts Information Coordinator. Responsibilities include coordinating all work activities, determining work procedures, monitoring work schedules, and provide adequate training to all new teammates working within the returns department. The Returns Lead will assign duties and examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures. Provide clear verbal and written communication with dealers, vendors, and various PCNA departments regarding Return/Warranty related processes.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage daily receipt of parts to insure proper handling procedures are followed.
- Identify and inspect all parts submitted for core returns for acceptability, damage, proper submission from dealers, and from the Warranty department.
- Apply credit to dealer accounts though the processing of core returns workflows.
- Ensures daily tactical and strategic operational functions are achieved. Daily workload planning, productivity tracking, quality management, capacity planning, and timeliness processing of dealer return shipments are coordinated and executed.
- Prepare documentation for international shipments of cores, including customs invoices, pro forma invoices, and commercial invoices.
- Ensure all return Material Handlers meet all production and quality standards set for the returns/warranty area.
- Maintain accurate and current files for all dealers and vendors with their pertinent core documentation.
- Train associates on WMS and RF technology. Ensure all associates have obtained proper safety training.
- Assist the operation in any and all aspects of warehouse management.
- Coach a Lean warehousing culture.
- Motivate assigned team members to perform at a level that meets and exceeds our current productivity and quality targets.
- Develop and participate in a 'continuous improvement' environment that facilitates process enhancements.
Qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Experience
(Job and Industry):
- 3+ years parts warehouse experience with an excellent work record
- Solid knowledge and understanding of computerized parts systems
- Experience in assigning work and/or effectively leading staff members
- Knowledge of Hazmat regulations
- Intermediate computer (PC) proficiency that include working knowledge of: EWM, SAP, MS Excel and Word applications, etc.
- Sound foundation in basic mathematic principles
- Must be able to operate a forklift, pallet jack and other various warehouse equipment

The pay for is this position is $23.25 per hour. However, it is important to note that at Porsche compensation range is dependent on geographic location. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skillset. Porsche reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness.
