Tasks

The incumbent will be responsible for:

  • Leading sales projects, including contract negotiations for the technical product part
  • Independently managing sales projects for Engine Life Cycle Services products as well as acquire new customers & develop customer loyalty
  • Taking accountability for & preparing proposals quotations, business planning & risk assessment for sales projects for all service components of Engine Life Cycle Services products
  • Advising segment management & department management on alternative courses of action as well as risks within the sales process, give recommendations & bring about decisions
  • Attending customer visits independently & together with Corporate Sales, represent Lufthansa Technik at trade shows as Sales Manager representative of Engine Life Cycle Services

Requirements

To thrive in this role, we value a combination of the following requirements:

  • University degree, preferably in (Industrial) Engineering, Business, Economics or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in the sales of technical products with customer interface, preferably in the field of aviation MRO
  • Sound knowledge of business fundamentals & relationships, contracts, aviation law & aviation engineering principles
  • Excellent spoken & written English
  • Knowledge of an Asian language or German is advantageous
  • Excellent customer service skills with customer-oriented attitude
  • Ability & self-driven motivation to adapt & solve challenges
  • Able to travel to Germany & extensively within Asia
  • Must possess a work permit in Singapore
