Tasks

What you'll do:

  • Meet and exceed sales targets for assigned accounts
  • Build strong customer relationships and identify new business opportunities
  • Create and negotiate tailored rate offers and agreements
  • Acquire new customers using advanced sales tools and market insights
  • Conduct sales visits and presentations to promote Lufthansa’s products and services
  • Maintain customer data and track activities in our CRM system
  • Encourage customers to use our innovative eServices
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver logistic solutions
  • Support local sales events and customer initiatives

Requirements

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3–5 years of experience in Aircargo Sales
  • Familiarity with cargo forwarders and customers in Italy
  • Understanding of Italian business culture
  • Fluent in Italian and English (German is an advantage)
  • Strong knowledge of the airfreight industry and sales practices
  • Proficient with IT, especially MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with key Air Cargo systems and tools
